Been past here for years when in town and never stopped until today. Have to say I have been missing out on fresh beers and fantastic food. Definitely will be my stop from now on. Beer was ice cold and fresh. Wings were real chicken chunks and the mild sauce was just right with that real butter taste and a hint of hot sauce. The wait staff was awesome and gave me the feeling of being welcome. Thanks again for such a good experience.
Oakley’s Lakeside. What a great find for a Sunday afternoon Burger and Cajun Dry Rub Wings. Took a drive on the last day before my son headed home and stopped in. The Burger was handmade! Fresh lettuce, crispy pickles and thin sliced tomatoes and red onion. The fries were hot and crispy.... Perfect. The Cajon Wing were cooked to perfection.....hot, crispy and tender inside. As we finished our meal a Band Called Brownman Live started playing. They were great. I’m coming back
This late Saturday (3/16/2024), my Girlfriend & I went to a Restaurant that I have been wanting to try for several months, in Oak Ridge, TN called Oakey's Sports Grill. I have heard good things about it, and I really wanted to go. My Girlfriend and I found the time, so we went. The atmosphere felt like a Sport Bar & Grill, they have a Stage for a Live Band, Huge Flat Screens through the Bar and Dining area. They have split tables for wheelchair seating and accessibility. We went for a weekend lunchtime, a slower time just after they opened. I have noticed in passing that they are very busy at night-time. My Girlfriend has been there before, but it was my first time. The Staff are friendly & helpful. Emmy was our Server; she was super friendly & helpful. My Girlfriend ordered the Mushroom Alfredo pasta, and I ordered the Ultimate Nachos with extra Cheese & Chili Meat (more protein). We both got Sweet Tea as well. While we waited for the Ordered to process with the Kitchen Staff, we looked at all the decor and took pictures. The Pictures are posted as part of this post. About 10 minutes later, Emmy brought the food. My order was absolutely delicious, the Chili for the Nachos had a welcome kick. My girlfriend really enjoyed the Mushroom Pasta sprinkled with Parmesan. We really enjoy the Food, Service & Atmosphere. We will go back to Oakey's Sports Grill again soon. HIDDEN GEM! This place looks very unassuming from the outside. No flashy signs to draw your attention. I heard of this place from someone else and finally looked it up. We’d driven by this place so many times and never knew this was a restaurant/sports bar. We had the hangover burger and the salmon teriyaki. It was so good! Will be returning.
Had an amazing time here. Carter our server was freaking awesome! The food great with a few tweaks. Pasta a little cool. Chicken and shrimp very hot. The Broccoli and cheese was great. The Oakly Salmon with rice and Broccoli Rice was off the chain good. The bone in wings where great. Very hot and well cooked. The mugs for beer excellent. My only wish is for a better frozen drink too icey. My suggestion is more Puree.
The food and the servers were fantastic. Great menu choices. The rock band from Knoxville were very talented. I will go again just to enjoy the fried shrimp with mac and cheese. Highly recommended!
Oakey’s has never disappointed! My coworkers and I usually come for drinks and appetizers on Thursdays and it’s a total vibe. Live music and happy hour are fantastic. The drink prices are unbeatable around town. Corn hole and many other games on the patio. Servers have always been excellent. Colby has been my favorite by a long shot!
We were in town for a trade show and this restaurant was near our hotel, and important for us was that the kitchen was still open as this place is also open late. The service was great and friendly, the menu choices were fantastic with both greasy bar food options to healthy choices. The price for the portion size was phenomenal! Most importantly, everything we ordered was made fresh and was delicious! There happened to be a local band performing '80s music that was entertaining.
